On the weekend of July 20-22, the American Le Mans Series travelled north for their only Canadian stop of the season at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. As the sponsor of this year’s BMW Corral, the team at Endras BMW was front and centre all weekend to take part in all of the action and cheer the BMW Rahal-Letterman-Lanigan team on.

Endras BMW Corral ticket holders had access to a private tented area including parking, catered lunch on race day, grandstand seating to watch the big race, the opportunity to take their BMW for a parade lap on Sunday morning and a tour of the BMW Rahal-Letterman-Lanigan paddock with a chance to meet the BMW drivers and get a close-up look at the BMW race cars. One highlight of the weekend was an exclusive tour of the BMW Rahal-Letterman-Lanigan transporter and the chance to visit the pit while the race was going on for some lucky ticket holders. Wearing official BMW Rahal-Letterman-Lanigan firesuits, guests visited the race pit and were able to take in a pit stop as the tech team raced to make sure the race cars were in fine form. At the end of the race, the team of Joey Hand/Dirk Müller and Jorg Müller/Bill Auberlen crossed the finish line fourth and eighth, respectively, in their GT class. However, following the disqualification of first place Porsche Flying Lizard team, the two BMW M3 GT cars moved up and placed third and seventh. A tough race indeed but we were thrilled that our BMW team still reached the podium. As a thank you to the Endras BMW team, the BMR Rahal-Letterman-Lanigan team gifted us with a 3^rd gear right off one of their race cars!
