All-new 2024 BMW i7 M70 is BMW's most powerful electric car

Introduced last month at Auto Shanghai, the all-new BMW i7 M70 2024 is BMW's flagship electric car and the most powerful version of the luxurious i7 range. 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds

The BMW i7 M70 2024 will offer all the luxury, equipment and remarkable design and technology of the BMW i7 presented last year. The most significant difference lies in the all-electric powertrain, which features two electric motors, one on each axle, the rear motor being specific to BMW M and the M70. This rear electric motor alone delivers up to 483 hp, while the total power of the i7 M70 is estimated at 650 hp. That's considerably more than the i4 M50 or BMW iX M60, and BMW claims that the i7 M70 will reach 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. This is partly due to the incredible 811 lb-ft of torque that can be generated under acceleration.

The i7 M70 will also have a distinct look compared to the traditional i7. It will feature black trim and unique wheel designs that will differentiate it not only from the i7, but also from other electric vehicles. Different paint options and more two-tone paint configurations will also be offered.

To handle all this performance, the BMW i7 M70 2023 benefits from unique chassis tuning by BMW M. It has its own adaptive air suspension settings, and the pistons and dampers are firmer. The M70 as a whole will offer superior braking and handling and a tighter overall feel. Like a true BMW M, the i7 M70 will not only stand out in a straight line or when pressing hard on the gas pedal, it will also shine in corners.

Around 500 kilometers of range

Another interesting feature of the new BMW i7 M70 is that, according to BMW, it will offer a range almost identical to that of the traditional BMW i7. That model offers a range of 517 km, and according to BMW, the i7 M70 will offer almost 500 km. It will be equipped with the same 101.7 kWh battery that powers the other i7 models.
